The UK Government In April 2010 introduced the Feed-in Tariff, also known as the Clean Energy Cashback Scheme.
The scheme guarantees a minimum payment for all electricity generated by the system for 25 years, it is Retail Price Index-linked and therefore recently went up 4.8% to compensate for inflation.
